Yes, alongside the twenty default tasks. Custom tasks slot into whichever timeline phase you assign them to and are saved automatically.

Yes. Checked items and custom tasks are written to your browser's local storage, so they're exactly as you left them next time you open the page on the same device.

Yes, one button clears your custom tasks and restores the original twenty-item timeline, with a confirmation step so you cannot do it by accident.

Yes. Print Checklist produces a clean, task-only layout grouped by deadline, without the buttons and controls, so it reads well on paper.

Dates beat months

Most checklist templates assume a twelve-month engagement and print fixed month headings, which is useless if you are planning in four months or six weeks. Dating every task from your own wedding day fixes that: "book the photographer" stops being a January task and becomes a five-months-before task.

It also exposes dependencies. You cannot close catering numbers before the guest list is final, and you cannot finalise the guest list before the invitations are ready to go.

The order that matters

Budget first, because it sets the scale of everything. Then headcount, then venue, then the date — each one constrains the next. Photographers and caterers book out furthest after venues, and custom bridal wear needs three to six months plus fittings, so those start early and run in parallel.

For a multi-event wedding, add an owner to each task. Where the groom’s family hosts the Walima or Bou Bhat, tasks without an owner fall into the gap between two households.

Print it and keep it

A printed checklist stuck to a wall is what keeps four contributing family members aligned. A copy on your phone is what you consult in a vendor meeting. Most couples want both.

Export a CSV to open in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers when you want family to add their own items, and tick tasks off as you go — progress saves in your browser with no account.
